Compare an MTH locomotive and you'll find a wealth of features unmatched by others. It all starts with the inclusion of digital sound in virtually every type of locomotive we produce.

Simple locomotive sound effects including engine bell & horn effects come with every Loco-Sound equipped engine. For just a few dollars more, incredibly sophisticated but easy to use cd quality sounds are included in all Proto-Sound 2.0 locomotives as well as remote control operating couplers that can be activated at any time without additional equipment.

Most engine are available with DCS.

MTH offers a complete line of engines, diesels, rolling stock,
accessories and Digital Command System.
